I love the self awareness. Let me ask you—do you feel if 10 people wore one of your scents, and they were mixed in with another 50 people wearing other various scents…could you pick out your ten? (Or Scout). I’m wondering how much each persons body changes the scent and if it might disappear in the crowd or still be clearly present?
If allowed to smell their skin directly, I could almost certainly pick them out, and so could Scout! They are very distinct scents, and the extent to which skin chemistry changes perfume is overrated.
Yeah that’s what I was really wondering how much skin chemistry really changes the perfume on top of it. Makes sense and if you liked the perfume you want that scent to be present. If our chemistry was more significant in changing the scent then it becomes a bit of a crap shoot what you end up with. We would need online perfume trading communities so people could find the one that works for them…or IRL. Or you could do body chemistry analysis and design different perfumes that interact with different body chemistry types.
This is great, the general principle behind it is something that’s been on my mind about my own path for a while, with a phrasing something like “the only things you get to choose to do are the ones you *obviously* can do and that are *obviously* a good idea.”
Congrats Sasha ❤️ really excited to buy a scent (or have someone buy one for me… given I’m in the UK).
